Gelli Printing on Fabric

Inspiered by I've made another gelatin printing plate and tried some prints on white fabric. My first tries where with fabric paint but the paint didn't work well on the gelatin. I haven't an opaque paint so I switched over to acrylic paint. Then it worked well.

to remove the paint from the printing plate I used deli papers - and got great ghost prints for my art journal

Journal Page

This is the first Page of week two form the ART, HEART & HEALING class at
As I told you I  participate in these great online class.

This time we learned how to alter a board book (I took my Art Journal instead of a children's board book) and how to make acrylic transfers.
You can see two pictures of me when I was a very young girl that I used for the transfer technique.

The second lesson will be to create whimsies (I'll post my result here when I finished it)

The healing focus is on healing childhood trauma and on honouring the self.
